Әлемдік және дәстүрлі діндер лидерлері Съезі Хатшылығының Жұмыс тобының отырысы өтті. Іс-шара Әлемдік және дәстүрлі діндер лидерлері Съезі Хатшылығы басшысының орынбасары - Сыртқы істер министрінің орынбасары Ержан Ашықбаевтың және Әлемдік және дәстүрлі діндер лидерлері съезінің мақсаттары мен міндеттерін насихаттау жөніндегі уәкілі - Қоғамдық даму вице-министрі Берік Арынның төрағалығымен өткізілді.

Кездесуге ислам, христиан, иудаизм, буддизм және индуизм өкілдері қатысты. Отырыстың күн тәртібіне сәйкес, Съездің ХVІІІ хатшылығының (9 қазан) және Әлемдік және дәстүрлі діндер көшбасшыларының VI Съезі (10-11 қазанда) жұмысының мазмұнды бөлігі, сондай-ақ VI Съезд декларациясының қорытынды құжатына қатысты мәселелер талқыланды.

Жұмыс тобының нәтижелері VI Съезд қарсаңында өтетін Әлемдік және дәстүрлі діндер көшбасшыларының Съезі Хатшылығының XVIII отырысында талқыланады.
