2017 жылғы 24 қазанда Нью Дели қаласында  «Қазақстандық білім күндері» («Kazakhstan Education Fair») көрмесінің ашылу салтанатты өтті. Көрме 24-25 қазан күндері ҚР Білім және ғылым министрлігі және «Халықаралық бағдарламалар орталығы» АҚ-мен ұйымдастырылды.

Шараның салтанатты ашылуына Қазақстан Республикасының Үндістандағы Елшісі Б.Сәрсенбаев, «Халықаралық бағдарламалар орталығы» АҚ вице-президенті М.Алпысбай және қазақстандық жоғарғы оқу орындары өкілдері қатысты. Көрменің ашылу салтанатында сөз сөйлеген Қазақстан Республикасының Үндістандағы Елшісі Болат Сәрсенбаев бұл шараның екі елдің білім саласындағы қарым-қатынасын нығайта түсуге бағытталғанын айтты.

Көрменің басты мақсаты – үндістандық түлектерді еліміздің жоғары оқу орындарында білім алу мүмкіндіктері жайлы хабардар ету. Осы мақсатта көрмеге еліміздің бірнеше жоғары оқу орны қатысып, көрмеге қатысушыларға бакалавриат, магистратура, аспирантура сияқты білім бағдарламалары жайында толық мәліметтер беріп, салалық мамандықтар туралы хабардар етті. Айта кетерлігі, көрмеге келушілер медицина, ІТ және ауыл шаруашылығы мамандықтарына аса қатты қызығушылық танытты.

Қазір Қазақстан Республикасында 12 880 шетелдік студент білім алады. ҚР Білім және ғылым министрілігіне 2020 жылға қарай бұл көрсеткішті 50 мыңға жеткізу тапсырылған. Соынмен қатар шетелдік оқытушыларға  виза алу мәселесін жеңілдету бойынша да жұмыстар жүргізіліп жатыр. Аталған іс-шаралар еліміздегі білім хабын құру идеясының қарқынды іске асуына әсер етуі мүмкін.
