Сыртқы істер министрлігінде Қазақстанның Сыртқы істер министрі Мұхтар Тілеуберді, Корея Республикасының - Кан Ген Хва, Қырғызстанның - Чингиз Айдарбеков, Тәжікстаннің - Сироджиддин Мухриддин мен Өзбекстанның - Абдулазиз Камиловтың қатысуымен «Орталық Азия-Корея Республикасы» форумының (ОАКР) 12-ші отырысы өтті. Түрікмен тарапынан осы елдің Қазақстандағы Елшісі Тойлы Комеков қатысты.

Форум отырысын ашқан Министр М. Тілеуберді атап өткендей, «Қазақстанның Тұңғыш Президенті - Елбасы Нұрсұлтан Назарбаев пен Қазақстан Президенті Қасым-Жомарт Тоқаев аймақ елдерімен бауырлас тату көршілік қарым-қатынастарды нығайтуға ерекше көңіл бөледі. Сондай-ақ ОАКР шеңберіндегі диалог аталған үдеріске толығымен ықпал етеді».

Қазақстанның сыртқы саяси ведомствосының басшысы форум алаңы Орталық Азияның Корея Республикасымен қарым-қатынасын және аймақтық өзара іс-қимылды нығайтудың тиімді тетігіне айналатынын атап өтті.

Форум аясында мемлекеттік органдар, ұлттық компаниялар және қатысушы елдердің сарапшылар қауымдастығы өкілдерінің қатысуымен төрт панельдік сессиясы өтіп, оның барысында су ресурстарын басқару, техникалық стандарттау, «жасыл» энергетика және ақпараттық технологиялар салаларындағы Орталық Азия елдері мен Корея Республикасының ынтымақтастығын дамыту перспективалары талқыланды.

Панельдік сессияға қатысушылар Корея Республикасының озық тәжірибесін қолдана отырып, осы салалардағы бірлескен жобаларды іске асыруға қызығушылық танытты.

Сондай-ақ екі елдің іскер топтары өкілдерінің қатысуымен су шаруашылығы саласындағы ынтымақтастық бойынша Қазақстан-Корея бизнес-консультациялары өтті.

Іс-шара нәтижесінде Сыртқы істер министрлері Орталық Азия елдері мен Корея Республикасы арасындағы өзара тиімді ынтымақтастықты одан әрі тереңдетуге ықпал ету ниетін растады.

Форум Хатшылығының 2020 жылға арналған жұмыс жоспары мақұлданып, оған көлік және логистика, денсаулық сақтау, білім беру, мәдениет және туризм салаларындағы ынтымақтастық жобалары кірді.

«Орталық Азия – Корея Республикасы» форумы 2007 жылы Корея Республикасының бастамасымен құрылған. Оның қызметінің негізгі бағыттары энергетика және минералдық ресурстар, құрылыс, көлік және ақпараттық-телекоммуникациялық технологиялар, мәдениет және білім салаларындағы ынтымақтастықты нығайту болып табылады.
