Бүгін ҚР Көлік вице-министрі Сәтжан Аблалиевтің қатысуымен туннельдің ресми түрде ашылуы өтеді. 

Түркістан облысы Шақпақ Баба асуындағы екі жолақты туннельдің ұзындығы 840 метрді құрайды. Ені - 11 метр, биіктігі - 8 метр.

Қауіпсіздікті қамтамасыз ету мақсатында туннельдің екі жағында жарықтандыру, желдету, дабыл беру және бағдаршамдарды реттеу үдерістерін басқаратын диспетчерлік пункттер қарастырылған.

Сонымен қатар нақты уақыт режимінде туннелді бақылауға мүмкіндік беретін бейнебақылау және өрттен қорғау жүйелері орнатылған.

Туннелдің жанында жүргізушілер мен жолаушылардың ыңғайы үшін жол жөндеу пункті, жанармай құю бекеті, тікұшақ алаңдары және сауда аймақтары қарастырылған.

Автожол туннелінің ашылуы қарсаңында 100 адам және 15 бірлік арнайы техника жұмылдырып, арнайы оқу-жаттығулары өткендігін атап өткен жөн. Арнайы жаттығулар шеңберінде туннелдің қауіпсіздік жүйелері, соның ішінде желдету және өрт сөндіру жұмыстары сыналды. Сондай-ақ төтенше жағдай кезінде көлік құралдарын жедел сүйреу және жол-пайдалану техникасының қозғалысын ұйымдастыру бойынша іс-әрекеттер пысықталды. Жол қызметтеріне нұсқаулық берілді.
