Биыл Қазақстан полициясының құрылғанына 30 жыл толып отыр. Полиция қызметінің қалыптасу кезеңдерінде кәсіби шеберліктерін, адалдықтарын мойындатқан, тіпті, қызмет жолында қаза болған әріптестеріміз аз емес. Оның ішінде құқық қорғау органдары қызметкерлерінің арасында Халық Қаһарманы атағын алған алғашқы әрі жалғыз полицей Ғазиз Байтасовтың ерлігі мәңгі өшпес өнеге.

Сондай-ақ тәуелсіздік алған жылдары Жамбыл облысы Полиция департаментінің 37 қызметкері мемлекеттік марапаттарға ие болып, 23 қызметкер «Ерлігі үшін» медалімен, 13 қызметкер «Айбын» орденімен наградталған болатын.

Осы ретте, мерейлі мерекеге орай Бауыржан Момышұлы атындағы "Жеңіс" саябағында батыр полицейлердің ескерткішіне гүл шоқтары қойылып, құрмет көрсетілді.

Іс-шара барысында қатысушылар қызмет бабында қаза болған полицейлерді бір минут үнсіздікпен еске алып, рухына тағзым етті.

Одан кейін облыстық Полиция департаментінің саптық алаңында сала қызметкерлері күніне арналған салтанатты іс-шара өтті.

Іс-шараға облыс әкімі, облыстық мәслихат хатшысы, құқық қорғау және сот органдарының, ҰҚКД бастықтары, қоғам белсенділері, ішкі істер органдары ардагерлері, Полиция департаментінің басшы және жеке құрамы, сондай-ақ қаза болған қызметкерлердің отбасы мүшелері қатысты.

Мерекелік жиын ҚР Президенті Қасым-Жомарт Тоқаевтың және Ішкі істер министрі Марат Ахметжановтың құттықтау жеделхаттарын жеке құрам назарына жеткізумен басталды. Содан соң, алғашқылардың бірі болып тәртіп сақшыларын Облыс әкімі Н. Нұржігітов пен Полиция департаментінің бастығы полиция генерал-майоры А.Баймурзин құттықтады.
