Тіл – ұлттың жаны, рухы, оның бет-бейнесі, өткені мен бүгіні және болашағы. Ғұлама ғалым А.Байтұрсынұлы: «Сөзі жоғалған жұрттың өзі де жоғалады»,– деп тілдің ұлт үшін қандай маңызды екенін бір-ақ ауыз сөзге сыйдырған. Әлемде жаулап алушы елдердің озбырлығынан, үстемдігінен қаншама тіл жоғалып кетсе, қаншама тіл жоғалудың аз-ақ алдында тұрғаны мәлім.

Сондықтан қазіргі жаһандану дәуірінде аз ұлттар мен ұлыстар өз тілдерін қорғап қалуға барынша күш салуда. Қазақстан Республикасы қазақ тілінің ғана емес, қазақстанда тұратын барлық ұлттар мен ұлыстардың тілінің дамуына барынша жағдай жасап отыр. Елбасымыздың 22- қыркүйекті «Қазақстан халықтарының тілдері күні» деп жариялау да сол мақсаттан туған.

            «Тіл тазалығы - жан тазалығы», «Тілін қадірлемеу - өзін қадірлемеу» дегендей,  тіл туралы, тілдің қадірі туралы ел ауызында даналық сөздер көп айтылады. Ана сүтімен, ананың әлдиімен санаға ұялайтын тіл болғандықтан әрбір ұлт өз тілін - Ана тілім деп атайды.

 Біздің тіліміз – қазақ тілі. Қазақ ақыны Жұбан Молдағалиев «Мың өліп, мың тірілген» деп жырлаған дана халқымыз сан ғасырлар бойы талай қиын-қыстау кезеңдерді басынан кешірсе де, Ана тілі - қазақ тілі, бай мұрасын саф алтындай сақтап, аса қадір тұтып бізге мұра етті. Тіл - ұлт рухы. Халқымыз «Тіл - жүректің елшісі, жүректен шыққан сөз жүректерге жол табады», - деп жатады. Демек, тіл тазалығы өте маңызды мәселе.

            Тәуелсіздік алған 20 жыл ішінде мыңдаған жылдар бойы бабаларымыз ауызымен құс тістеген сұңғыла ойлы шешендер, ел намысын ту еткен көсемдер дамытқан ана тіліміз құлдырап кету жағдайына дейін барып қайта түледі, қайта жаңғырды. «Бардан жоқ болмайды», деген осы да. Одақ құрамындағы өзге республикаларға қарағанда отарлау саясаты әріден қызу жүргізілген қазақ халқы өзгелерден де көбірек тепіріш көрді.

Ұлтты құрту үшін, тілін, дінін құрту керек деген мақсатты берік ұстанған миссионерлік саясаттың кесірінен ана тіліміз көп азап шекті. Тіпті өз ана тілімізде сөйлеуге намыстанатын жағдайға жеттік.

 Еліктеушілік – мақтаншақтықтан басталады. Шектен тыс еліктеушілікке салынып, өз тілін шұбарлау барып тұрған әдепсіздік,  сорақылық, аяқ асты ету деп есептеледі.

 Қазақ халқының асыл да дана перзенті, ана тіліміздің жанашыры Ахмет Байтұрсынов айтқанындай, туған тіліміз - тұғырымыз, екенін әсте ұмытпайық, ағайын.

Мемлекеттік тіліміздің мәртебесі үстем болып, ол мемлекетіміздің ең маңызды тірегіне айнала берсін.
